Study Tracks

Economics and Mathematics

Students study modern economic theory, statistics, mathematics, principles of econometrics, and foreign languages. Under this programme, students can combine their studies with practical work and various research projects.

Economics and Social Sciences

In addition to general subjects, students get to learn about economics, political sciences and sociology, as well as study foreign languages. Research work is also obligatory in regards to this field of study.

Human Studies

This field offers students a wide range of subjects. In particular, HSE Lyceum cooperates with 11 HSE study programmes: ‘History’, ‘Philology’, ‘Philosophy’, ‘Foreign Languages and Intercultural Communication’, ‘Fundamental and Computer Linguistics’, ‘The History of Arts’, ‘Culturology’, ‘Foreign Affairs’, ‘Journalism’, ‘Mediacommunication’, and ‘Public Relations and Advertising’. Students may choose any of these programmes.

Design

With the exception of general subjects and foreign languages, students can study the history of art and design, as well as learn the basic principles of design and the peculiarities of working in a team. In their studies, students learn about the various professions in design and how modern business functions.

Asian Studies

In addition to a European language, students may choose one of the following languages: Chinese, Japanese, Korean or Arabic. Those who successfully complete their studies generally posses extensive knowledge of history, culture and literature, as well as the economic and political trends in the Asian region.

Law

This programme is focused on the political, economic, cultural, historical, philosophical and various other problems of contemporary society. Students may study the theory of state and law, the history of the Russian state and law, law and politics, as well as the general principles of civil, criminal, labor, family and financial law.

Psychology

This programme confers extensive knowledge of biology and mathematics, while also involving extensive research work. Our students also participate in various types master classes, roundtable discussions and training sessions offered by well-respected academics.

Mathematics, Information Technology and Engineering

This field offers students a wide range of subjects. Students may choose the level for each subject (general or deeper learning). They can study mathematics, applied mathematics, informatics and computer science, infocommunication technologies and communication systems, computer security, business informatics, engineering, applied mathematics, and informatics.
